Brad Bennigson
Brad Bennigson, a licensed contractor, joined the NorthWall Builders team in 2005, after several years managing the construction of a large estate in Sonoma County. Brad was raised in Palo Alto, attended Palo Alto High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara in 1995.
After a brief stint in high tech, Brad decided to turn his passion for high-quality craftsmanship and custom home building into a career path. Over the past decade with NorthWall, Brad has overseen the project management and construction of numerous new homes and remodels, spanning a wide range of architectural styles. He prides himself on his professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, and high standards for quality—not to mention his natural talent for building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. These characteristics and more have propelled Brad to his current role as Principal and Senior Project Manager at NorthWall.
Brad lives in San Carlos with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with family, surfing and fly-fishing.
Wakefield Mist
Wakefield (“Wakey”) joined NorthWall Builders in 2005. Having grown up in and around the construction business, Wakey has brought his passion for building, design and leadership to the NorthWall team. Through his experiences building custom homes on the Peninsula, he has cultivated strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers and subcontractors. Wakey loves bringing the client and design team’s vision from paper to fruition. In his role as Principal and Senior Project Manager, he oversees all aspects of construction with a keen attention to detail and client satisfaction. A certified Build it Green professional, Wakey strives to seek out new technologies and be at the forefront of the ever-changing high-end homebuilding industry, and find new ways to deliver exceptional value and quality to his customers.
Wakey was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He came to the mainland to pursue his BSBA degree in Business & Construction Management at the University of Denver and graduated in 2005 as a member of the International Construction Management Honors Society.
Wakey resides in San Carlos with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, surfing and cooking.
Mark Moragne

When NorthWall Builders began in 1996, Mark had worked in the building and construction industries for more than a decade. Prior to starting NorthWall Builders he worked as a project engineer and manager for Rudolph Sletten, Inc., and in that role, he oversaw commercial construction projects with a specialty in pharmaceutical, electronic and bio-tech manufacturing facilities. He co-founded NorthWall Builders as a way to apply his expertise in managing complex projects to something closer to home: building quality, custom, residential houses.
Mark graduated from University of Denver in 1982, then returned to school to pursue a degree in construction engineering. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1992 with a BS in construction engineering management.
He lives in Palo Alto and is married with three children. He is a board member of the Palo Alto Housing Corporation and is active in the community. When not building homes, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, getting outside, and traveling.
Stephen Reller
Steve, an award-winning builder and developer, co-founded NorthWall Builders with Mark in 1996 and quickly earned the reputation of being a premier builder through his tireless attention to detail, focus on quality, and commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.
A second generation Palo Alto real estate developer, Steve is actively involved in the Palo Alto community where he lives with his wife and three children. He serves on multiple non-profit boards including the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo.
In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, running, biking, skiing and occasionally coaching one of his children’s soccer teams.
